Everything I have seen so far tells me it is not an impression. It's as ****ed up as it looks. All that marching in a straight-line stuff in Red Square looks intimidating, but the world is now witnessing a military they thought was far more organized than it is.
I don't think most people ever thought the Russian military could be as much of a disorganized goatfk as it is.
