They let us fly around for about 20 minutes. I think I maxed it out at a little over 60. Gulf side is smooth in comparison to the Atlantic side which is choppy as fk. Not fun flying around the choppy side, especially with a kid on the back.

We were in DR years ago with a couple and we rented two of them. It was so choppy we were jumping over each other. Super dumb thinking about it now but any kind of speed was impossible.
We had one of the owners ride out to remind us not to be too close to each other. I’m guessing he didn’t see the stupid stunts.
