Our last cruise got to the point that this waiter brought me 2 buckets of 6 Miller Lites each, and 3 fruity drinks for my wife, out to the sun deck for FREE. Naturally, I was giving him about $20 every once in awhile. I would drink 10-12 beers at dinner and tip him a $20. My bill usually reflected 2-4 beers. I also tipped a $20 for the 2 buckets of beer on deck.
It's a scam, and they know it. Play the game right and you WILL be rewarded.
