every car dealer I've dealt with (with a trade-in as part of the deal) does indeed pull out their NADA book; and then always slides over to the
last column "poor condition" and says that's what it is worth on trade. I've seen this many times.
I swear I could take a 3 month old car with 100 miles on it, in 100% perfect condition, and the trade-in value would come from the "poor condition" column of the book.
