The Albertson's by my house (Nordhoff/Balboa) took all of the self check lanes out a while back. I don't shop at the Ralphs up the street on Devonshire...haven't been in there in ages. The Whole Foods is pretty huge. There’s a restaurant there and a juice bar. And the salad and food bar is much bigger.
I’m curious to see what they put in the space where the old Whole Foods was...rumor is either Sprouts or H-Mart. Either is fine with me because I drive to the Granada Hill’s Sprouts now. And if I want to go to the Asian Market, I hit the Galleria at Devonshire and Reseda. So, having either of those in the old Whole Foods space would be nice.
For the new shopping area, aside from Whole Foods...
AMC, Nordstrom’ Rack (already open), Ulta (already open), Peet’s Coffee, Lure Fish House, Gus’s BBQ.
