It was a messy affair. Anybody who gets dressed up and goes to a fancy restaurant for lobster is doing it wrong....squirts, snaps, dribbles. Garlic butter on my chin.....Lots of fun!
I must say though, for great tail, I prefer Caribbean spiny lobsters. Maritime tail can be stringy. Then again, any tail is good tail.
