No do that home, you do it in public and you could get reported for child abuse.
I hit my kid for mouthing off to me and some biddy in the school parking lot saw it called the cops. We were home about a 1/2 hour and 4 cops and a social worker showed up. After about a hour they left and the report was expunged. The story the old biddy told the cops made it seem like I was Mike Tyson pummeling some boxer in a corner'
I did not hit the kid that hard and only once, just made a point, but word to the wise be careful.
