Before I get accused of not "driving in anger", I have a hell of a lot of laps to my name in many different cars, from pure street cars to track prepped cars, to purpose built non production race cars. I don't care how fast it is, driving a street car "in anger" does absolutely nothing at all for me and never has (nor does driving around in an HPDE setting in general). Take the competition and wheel to wheel aspect out of racing and after about 3 laps... I'm just bored.  I'd rather go drive a kart, Legends car, ... Spec Miata, anything in ACTUAL anger. |
