depends on when.
if before the electoral college meets, then they will have to vote for someone else, per various state rules on this matter. but most states require that the electors vote for the candidates who won the popular vote in that state.
so....it would be a mess for those states that Biden won. Trump states would of course vote for Trump's electors.
