As long as I'm on a roll making stupid "investing" decisions, I bought some bitcoin today.

Had to CALL Vanguard on the phone to buy GBTC because it's OTC, and it has a freaking 2% expense ratio.

Bitcoin bulls are retarded. This shit isn't going ANYWHERE until goobers like me can click a mouse button to buy it in our Vanguard accounts, and do so via an ETF or some other vehicle that charges a reasonable expense ratio, not 2%.

Don't talk to me about ****ing "wallets" and "cold storage" and crypto exchanges NONE of it is safe, it's all wild west, and people are constantly getting scammed, hacked, screwed, etc. Bitcoin will NEVER be as popular and/or valuable as the crypto bulls keep screaming it will be unless and until John OK Boomer Doe can click his mouse and buy it from the safety of his Vanguard/Schwab account, pay no fees, and also not get ****ed in the @$$ with a ridiculous expense ratio.

I now am the proud owner of $100 of GBTC. May God have mercy on my soul.
