Back after I retired from my union I used my CDL and got a job delivering specialty building supplies.
I was 55 when I started working there and soon after they hire a new receptionist/ phone answer. She was about 20 and very nice looking. We hit it off real well and we kidded a lot. Any time I would call the office to give a customers credit card number I would say something like O Jill If I only was 30 years younger and sigh.
One time I asked her this old joke. "If I tell you you have a wonderful body will you hold it against me". She, not exactly a Mensa thought for a bit and said no its a very nice complement, thank you. She never could understand why the people that heard that exchange cracked up laughing.
Man could you imaging the shit show that would cause today.
