I was running some errands this morning, stopped at the grocery store for some strawberry preserves.
parked my truck at the far end of the lot, as it is easier to get in and out, not having to deal with other cars around. i'm getting out of my truck, the driver's door facing away from the store, no other cars beyond my truck door. as i'm getting my phone tucked in my pocket, and getting ready to close the door and put my keys away, i look up and there is a white SUV coming right at me, and i can hear the engine rev. and then he stopped about 20 feet from me. i looked at him real hard. another 10 feet and i'd be moving sideways and thinking of drawing my pistol on him. a car is a deadly weapon.
he got out, i kept my eye on him, let him go ahead of me.
