We have a 21 yr old that appears to be able to outlive us. Howls 4 times a day like she’s in heat. Thankfully it’s only when she’s awake, or hungry.
Still functions and can get up/down stairs for the litter box but her days are numbered.
Do what’s right, sorry you have to go through this, we aren’t far behind you.
