One doesn't win a war by playing nice. The Comms figured that out long ago. The GOPe, being the "Go along to get along Party", not so much

Ken, that was exactly the point you were making. You do realize that after the election no matter who wins nothing will have changed. Half the country will be happy and the other half will be pissed and rocking the boat for the next 4 years. That's what we have today and it's what we're going to have in January. Who's going to win this culture war? How is it going to be won? It's not going to happen in this cycle, no way shape or form. MAGA will be MAGA, Trump will either win or lose. All MAGA wants is revenge and to stand on a pile of dead dems. All the libs want is to exnihilate MAGA. Nothing will change in January 2025 no matter who wins.
Look at the right, they can't get out of their own way. You have Greene trying to oust Speaker Johnson and another house Republican leaving in 2 weeks taking the majority down to one single seat, what a cluster. The party is imploding and if you think for a minute that these republican members of congress that are resigning are not doing it strategically at this point in time to stick it to MAGA you're not looking very hard. All this nonstop BS from the right is making it easy for the left, how will that win the culture war?
The only way the culture war gets any better is in a grass roots effort. Stop accepting horribly flawed candidates and start holding them all accountable.
Good posting with you.
