I find it difficult to believe that COVID, a respiratory virus, spread everywhere during lockdowns, mask wearing, etc. and no other virus spread at all. Do you buy that?

I only know from my personal experiences. Anyone I’ve ever talked to regarding hand sanitizer and not shaking hands are okay with it and the overwhelming comment is because they like not having colds.
I don’t know about the flu because I’ve had it 2-3 times in all my life. Colds for me are quite common.
The only question I have is that if all those measures recently put in place can derail the common cold, why do you have such a hard time believing it can do the same with the flu.
Other real experience. I’ve followed hockey all my life and remember on occasion when 1, 2 or even 3 (on the rare occasion)players were out of the lineup with the flu.
The Vancouver Canucks had 23 out with Covid.
Steve…..maybe it’s possible that it’s as contagious as they say
