I've waxed virtually every rental car I've ever had since I've been coming to Vegas. For the last 6 years, it's been nothing but exotics and Corvettes. I grew up working at a car wash starting at 14. Personally, I can't stand driving a dirty car. "Clean" to a rental car agency is not clean to a car geek. The wheels were gnarly, so I washed the rims inside and out. I spent $1,500 on this car alone for 3 days. I want it to look like the $175,000 car that it is.
Hell, I spent another $81 on supplies today at the auto parts store.
I will be washing and waxing the C7 I pick up on Monday. I keep that one until Sunday the 25th.
