Default Man arrested after police say he’s been stealing gas by drilling holes in cars

Congratulations, Dems. Thanks to Biden's energy 'policy', you not have people stealing gas again, ala 1979, but doing it with a power drill.

ATLANTA — A man police say has been drilling into cars to steal their gas has been arrested.

Several victims told Channel 2′s Matt Johnson that what appears to be happening is someone is going underneath the cars with a drill, then drilling holes in the gas tanks and catching the gas with a bucket.

Atlanta police say the suspect, Matthew Reznick, has stolen his last gallon of gas.

Officers were able to recognize the suspect’s car from and make a traffic stop.

Reznick was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, multiple counts of entering auto and criminal damage to property.

Several victims told Johnson that one day their cars wouldn’t start and they realized they were out of gas, even though they knew they had a full tank of gas.

After having their cars towed, they found the hole that had been drilled in the tank.

“I’ve got almost $2,000 worth of damages, not just in the gas tank, but also damage the fuel pump, which is a pretty big issue,” one victim said.

After being arrested, he began complaining of shortness of breath, so he was taken to Grady Detention Center for treatment. He was later released and booked into the Fulton County Jail.
