Although I’m certain the primary, if not the sole, reason behind the Dem decision to do this is because they thought it would piss off American Patriots (thus further dividing the political left and right in this country)... they might be surprised to see how us America-loving right wingers actually feel about the situation. Hell I wouldn’t be surprised, when they see virtually no pushback on this from the right, that this whole thing just dies.
