I had an "incident" with my 72 Cutlass and the body shop wanted the dented parts ON to pull back into shape. It made their job easier as they could see the exact angle on impact that way

I've been dealing with this body shop for 25 years. The will ALSO be getting the parts we took off in case they want to grab any hardware or analyze. We will also take our "Big old Miata bucket of bolts..." for them to scavenge if they need to to put it back together.
If they need a reference point, I can always tow Vader over to the shop, but this is truly a pretty easy fix.
