We were 7th out of 32 going in to the tournament and we lost to the #10 team. I heard some of the boys say "oh this team is terrible"... probably a case of not taking everyone seriously and it resulted in their egos being handed to them. We got down 4 runs in the first inning because our pitcher walked too many before being taken out. I half way blame this on the coach but if we were hitting it wouldn't be a problem. This was our third game on Saturday, first game started at 10:20am and our last game started at 8:15Pm! It was a long day. Since we lost, we had no games Sunday.
And to answer your question... yes on this game they got beat by a team that wanted it more.
