I think this is their golden opportunity to ruin him once and for all.
Make him the first president forcibly removed from office, making his
legacy a humiliation and disgrace. A desperate move to vilify him
and his supporters and maybe even quite possibly open the door to
litigation and charge him with bogus 'crimes against the state' or clean
him out financially!
They're all assholes, there's no bar they can't lower enough to satisfy their
hunger for destroying their enemies...
