Yes. Usually when they suddenly start peeing outside their box, it’s a sign of something wrong. Might be kidneys. Might also be that he’s older and can’t get into the box that easily. Take him to the vet to get checked out.  |
We have had older cats that started peeing outside the box that were diagnosed with kidney problems.
