It's not a death sentence. My mom and dad both got it also. Both 78. And my mom has had many open heart surgeries, pig valves, angios-plasty-thingys, carotid artery surgery, you name it.
Both had a 103 temp one day. Sniffles the next. Then perfectly fine and bitching about being quarantined and can't golf.
Hopefully the same scenario for your folks.
