Not every illegal immigrant gets paid in cash people. A lot of them get checks just like the rest of us, with deductions for their state and federal taxes, health benefits, SS, etc. It's just a matter of how much paperwork they can obtain. I think most of them DO want to be legal and legit, it's just not as easy as it would seem I suppose.
I agree that there's a problem with the ones that don't pay into the system. There's a hell of a lot of legal citizens that don't contribute squat, but take plenty. What do we do with those?!?
