My Boxer (Cosmo) made it to just past 12 years, even with cardiomyopathy…his previous owner (who passed away unexpectedly, unf how I got ownership of Cosmo) had a Boxer (Katie) who made it to 14 (even with cancer 3 times)! So you just never know…
That said, they could live to be 50 and it would still never be enough time. I totally feel you on wishing you could give some of your own years.
Would love to see a photo of your Boxer…my all-time favorite breed. Have had 7 in my life overall.
