Off to do some new training. The hospital system I work for is exploring the option of having a tumor board and want me on the committee to get things going. Apparently Medicare will pay for CT (100% covered as a screening exam) for all patients that meet qualifying factors.
This could save so many lives with early detection of lung nodules. Very excited about being asked to join in on this venture. |
