Let me address this one separately. I honestly don't care if everyone is applied and accepted. If they want to come here to be productive members of society and to make this country better, I say welcome. My position isn't based on a concept of a certain number of rejections being the objective. That said, I don't believe we need a system that goes to that extreme. As I said, I think there's a middle ground that can be more efficiently reached.
I'll give you an example. Migrant farm workers. If they don't have criminal records, are coming here to work the growing season and then go home and they don't get in any trouble when they are here, I don't care if every single person who applies gets accepted, based on that strict example.
