Thanks. Even though my birthday falls on 9/11, I still enjoy it. Later that day I and two of my friends created some hazards on our local golf course. We planted four trees on the right side of the fairway of hole #1. Those with a slice will have problems, but us hackers never hit that far on our drives anyway.
This is the view from the tee-box of #1.
Now we wait for them to grow into a real problem!!!!
A few years ago we got even more devious when we moved Hole #6 into a spot surrounded by trees. You have to hit through the trees to get to the green. There is a nice opening in the front but if you hit off either side you have trees to contend with. This is a small 9 hole sand green course and we have a lot of fun with it. As the head groundskeeper (volunteer) I am very familiar with the course.
