There isn't any gasket for the magnetron, it bolts down (4 screws) to the metal frame around the wave guide, and then there's more metal that is screwed around the entire interface there, so it's completely shielded. I'll even put the outside cover back on with a couple screws before even plugging it in, although that's probably overkill. If it doesn't work with the new magnetron, I'm probably screwed unless I can find a schematic for this completely discontinued model. I could call Thermadore and see if they'll send me a link to one, there's that option, but I'm sure they would tell me to send it in for service which isn't going to happen.
