5 years ago, a cop would have brought out a .40 as soon as they are getting attacked. Today? They know the mob means they can't do anything but fight with fists and pray they don't get killed.
These feral mobs know they are now officially free to do as they please. Nobody can stop them. This entire country, in urban zones at least, will be as safe as taking a jog alone and unarmed through the African savanna at night.
