A lot of people don't know this.
As the decision is made to leave a country the initial drawdown is military led. When the drawdown reaches a certain point the State Department takes over handing the country back to the indigenous people.
State Department ****ed this up at the behest of the Administration.
Why do you think a 2 star was flown back in from the 82nd?
Because civilians ****ed it all up.
