I agree.

I'm not personally well-off enough to go completely Galt, but I will spend absolutely NO more money than I actually NEED to, bare minimum expenses.

No more trips, no furniture purchases that I had planned, will buy second-hand, used, or otherwise 'not new' stuff for a while. Have increased my exemptions to break even on tax payments throughout the year, and my (tax-deferred) retirement accounts are maxed and put into as conservative status as I can get.

Can't go Galt completely, and I can't go off the grid, but I can certainly minimize my footprint.

I sure hope these next 4 years go by quick. This sucks.
