Down to one cat left from Marianne's brood of 9.
Took 18 y/o Shelby (Cry Baby) in today. Puking blood for the past month,
he was up to at least 3 pukes a day, all saliva. Not heavy in blood, but enough to
turn his saliva pink, to dark red. He was the largest cat of all we had. And also the most people shy. Hard to tell when cats are suffering, not much out-ward complaining, but there's always some tell-tale sign. This guy begged for his
meals on a regular, daily basis, but never ate much at all. He lost half his
weight in the last 2 months.

Anyway, for those who don't know, Marianne was the consummate cat lady.
Up to 10 cats in the house at one time over the past 30 years,
all but 1 were ferals she brought in.
Marianne passed away Oct 31st, 2022. We were down to 4 a week before she passed, I took 2 in the week before (16 & 18 y/o).
Here's a pic of Cry Baby from a few years back at Halloween 2007, 1 year old.

I'm now left with only Stinky, a 16 y/o female Marianne brought in at 5 weeks old.

ID:	96671. She's a lightweight Siamese mix, less than 5 lbs.
Her twin sister (Big head) died at 8 y/o from heart failure. Stinky was called Little head back then, but returned to stinky, because as a kitten, she never cleaned herself.

I still remember the day we brought the first cat home. We were dog people
at that time.
Our little 3 y/o daughter wanted a cat, so I said OK, but only 1.
We had had cats before our daughter was born, but not being a cat person,
we never replaced the previous 4 we had prior.
Anyway, still not a cat person, but there's now sentimental(?) value to these guys.
They're part of the family.
Rest well buddy.
