Hell no! Perfect place to get your first runs in.
No pressure and a relaxed day is the best part. Plenty of guys there to give you a hand launching the automatic.
I've never raced an auto, but will be happy to lend a hand where I can.
I'll be trailering in with a generator and tools if you need anything along the way.
I'd suggest bringing a couple extra quarts of oil, 5 gals of gas as backup (the pumps at the track are usually on for race fuel as well) some extra rags and tools are normally handy, but I've got most all you'll need for most issues.
