After my dad's stint in the Army Air Corps he and my mom moved back to Boston. Furnishing their apartment my dad insisted on a modern (mid 50's) bedroom set. My mother wanted classic cherry. She reminded him of his mistake at least once/ week until she died; they were married 59 years.
