At first glance, that's downright mortifying. Taking a harder look at things though, think about the propaganda value of this. Say his ship fires missile volleys at an on shore enemy, or even at another ship and devastates the enemy.
We put this guy on Voice of America TV stations and say, "hey, remember when we ****ed up your **** and killed a bunch of your people? Here's the 'guy' who did it to you. You got BTFO by
this guy. That ought to demoralize the enemy and reduce their will to fight.
As to our military, well, it IS the Navy, so.......
