Oh I have no doubt you have every Erythrogaster and their cousins at your place.
Their biggest defensive trait is to puff up to have the appearance of a Cottonmouth/Moccasin, and be as aggressive as a Cottonmouth/Moccasin.
Green Erythrogasters are the worst (not really green at all down here, just a name)...real hard to distinguish between the two (venomous and non) at a glance and even harder for the average person.
And to a scared of snake person; they are a 90ft long black mamba cobra python hybrids that chase humans...
Mike Rowe did an episode on Erythrogaster on
"Dirty Jobs", was hilarious because Erythrogasters are notorious for pooping the foul juice as another defensive trait.
I think he did the episode with this girl (because hooters):
