If a child molester comes into your ER, beat nearly to death by the father whos daughter was molested by him, and I can't muster the same deep compassion that I have for the 2 year old in the next room that has a life threatening injury due to no fault of their own?
If that is a "God complex", I guess I'm fully guilty as charged.
