I'm dicking around with TunerPro to edit memcals (aka chips). The definitions that list variables and tables are well enough defined on the L98's and LT1's to change anything you want. Just get somebody to lower the fan on temps so it doesn't have to get to 228 degrees before they run.

It's easy enough to do yourself, but I have a chip burner at work so it is cheap for me to play. You need to buy a cable to flash LT1's, but your 88 has the "chip".

that's how I would do it...just keep a nearly stock chip and just tweak the fan temps.
