Yup. It never was about ending poverty. Dems are still using welfare and "free" .gov money to buy votes.
Since everything here is open at full capacity hotels, restaurants, stores and other businesses are begging people to work for them, but nobody wants to work. Between "enhanced" unemployment benefits, welfare and "free" stimulus money, even $15+/hr isn't enough to hire anyone. Local Omni ran a half page ad in the local paper this week saying they are short over 100 employees, and begging people to apply. Maids get $15/h and pay goes up from there for other positions. Meanwhile in the bad part of Jacksonville there have been 31 murders so far this year; 95% of them involved a young black male as the murderer. I'm sure they're pissed off because they're fenced in and forcibly kept drunk and drugged, so it's understandable.
