They're assuming that the popular vote would be exactly the same.
The EC is there for a reason. Look at the country. We shouldn't be run by a few giant cities...

I don't understand this statement. This is how the EC works too. Ohio is driven by Cleveland/Columbus/Cincinnati with the rest of state sucking it up. California id driven by L.A, with the north (more Republican) part of the state sucking it up and taking what LA dictates for all. Look at the US map and see all that vast area of red, yet it is a neck and neck race because of the small, HIGHLY populated blue spots.
Am I wrong?
