He is from Oklahoma, as are many of the country artists. Reba, Vince Gill, Blake Shelton, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith etc... Have met Vince personally, salt of the earth, down to earth guy
Also Chuck Norris is from OK. Have stayed at his house in TX w/him and his wife Gena, also some of the nicest people you could ever meet.
Say what you want about OK, the people here are very nice.
