No birthday info at all = no one here can ever tell when your Bday is.
Birthdate entered, but hide selected = Bday info will appear on the profile page mods/admins see, but will not appear on the forum calendar, nor be displayed at the bottom of home page on the birthday.
Reviewing a thousand+ profile pages to maybe find one that matches each day would be about the only way we could discover it.
"Display month/day only" puts birthdate on the calandar, but will not display age. If you want Wendy (or anyone) to see that it's your birthday, select this.
Full Birthday info puts it on the calendar, and displays age as well.
