The point was not to challenge the validity of the vote. If he would have just STFU, even half the time, it probably would have come out differently. I totally agree with the slanted coverage and huge attack from the left. I have no idea whether the vote was fixed.
He did not act as a gentleman at the right times and I believe that it affected a large number of independent voters. It probably would have been a landslide if he wasn't so damn annoying at times.
Hold your "clearing the swamp" and "telling the truth" comments. You can do that and still be civil enough to not piss off your own base, or those in the middle.
