This is the beauty of liberalism. Consequences and results don't matter, only their precious intentions.

They will never accept responsibility for the consequences of their actions. They smile, glad-hand, pat themselves on the back for their compassion, and then when the bill comes due suddenly they're not taking credit anymore, and instead point the finger of blame at anyone and everyone else.
