I had my grandfather's 76 Buick Electra 225 limited ( 2 door) and although it wouldn't set any speed records, it was one of the nicest riding vehicles I ever had. It's like having a steering wheel on your lazyboy recliner
Previous to that he had a '69 Electra 225 that moved pretty good. iirc, that had a 425 in it

My Dad had a '76 Buick Electra Park Avenue with the 455. Not a sports car, but it had some giddy up. I actually drove that car from Vancouver to Ottawa in '86. Very comfortable riding car. Was pretty fast too. Gas mileage wasn't all that great, but it had more than enough torque.
