so i get an email from one of our US senators. i'm on his blast list. long email that starts out by noting that 82% of children born in this state are born to families that are eligible for Medicaid. they are officially poor.
my politically incorrect thought was that maybe you shouldn't be having children until you can properly afford to do so without being on the dole.
that's why i'll never run for political office.
