I struggled with the decision about buying an Echo Dot. Then I realized how absolutely uninteresting listening in on me would be. Now I have 8 of them scattered through the house.
That being said, I am also testing them. I have an object that I name at least 5 times while at my house. Something I have never googled or asked Alexa about. I say it over and over from time to time. The MOMENT I see any ads or pop ups for this particular thing, the Echos will all be for sale on ebay.
I have automated a lot of things and it's all pretty cool...for now.
