Yes. Part of what makes communism take root is demoralizing the population. You do this by promoting lies as truth, the bigger the lies you force people to swallow, the better. It's important for people to KNOW they are being fed lies and are forced to regurgitate those lies. It's important for you to SEE the mentally ill in positions of power over you, to demoralize you.
