The std C6 19x10" wheel is a 79mm offset, and when fit on C5s they are too tucked in, in fact most need spacers to keep them from rubbing the inner liner, and/or to look respectable.

The 19x12" wheel on C6 Z06 and GS's are actually 59mm offset, and if you understand how offset works, that lower offset pushes the centerline of the wheel's width out more, which makes a tub job irrelevant.

Because yes, a 19x12"-59mm, will be close, but poke out of the fenders very slightly on a stock C5 body.
Ideally, a 12" wide wheel for a tubbed C5 to keep a flush fender fitment would be in the 74-76mm ballpark. (More offset = more wheel moves inward).

In contrast, those with aftermarket rear fender flares who do want the wheel to stick out more, are usually looking at a 45-48mm offset ballpark for that same 12" wheel width.

So, even if there were such a thing as a GM 19x12" - 79mm offset wheel (and there isn't), it would likely fit your tubbed C5 quite well.
